The Center of Tatar culture and the Tyumen regional public organization “Union of Tatar youth of the Tyumen region” holds a traditional city contest “Yash Tatars Gailyase 2014”.

The purpose of the contest is to maintain and develop family traditions of the Tatar people, identify and support the best Tatar families, promotion of national traditions, including the education of love, respect and mutual understanding in the family.

According to the Regulations of the contest, the young Tatar families to become a contestant must meet the following criteria:

• – Family communication in the mother tongue;
• – Family celebrations, based on national traditions;
• – Knowledge and skill of cooking Tatar national dishes;
• – Use in the education of children elements of Tatar folk pedagogy;
• – Knowledge of the Tatar national holidays and participation in them, etc.

The contest will be held November 15, 2014 at the center of Tatar culture
