First Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, and Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Danis Shakirov, met with the Chairman of the Government of the Penza Region, Nikolai Simonov, as part of his working visit to the region.

During the meeting, they discussed preparations for the 16th All-Russian Rural Sabantuy, which will be held in 2026 in the village of Maly Truyevo, Kuznetsk District, Penza Region.

To begin work on organizing the national holiday, an organizing committee has been established, headed by the Governor of the Penza Region, Oleg Melnichenko.
