First Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Head of the Executive Committee of WCT Danis Shakirov is on a working trip to St. Petersburg.

Here Danis Shakirov takes part in the II St. Petersburg International Religious Forum “Religious Values in the Modern World”. He spoke at the plenary session of the forum dedicated to the role of spiritual and moral values, the development of interfaith dialogue in the modern world. Speaker reported on the projects of the World Congress of the Tatars organized jointly with religious figures. According to Danis Shakirov, the concepts of national life and religion are inseparable.

The conference is attended by scientists and experts from different countries, religious, public and political figures. In total, 250 guests from 70 countries came to St. Petersburg, another 250 people are taking part in the forum in absentia.
