The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov signed a decree approving the date of the celebration of Sabantuy in the regions of the republic.
Thus, the Tatar holiday will be held on the following dates:
- in rural settlements, regional centers of the Republic of Tatarstan – June 10-11, 2023;
- in Naberezhnye Chelny – June 17, 2023;
- in Kazan – on June 24, 2023.
Rustam Minnikhanov instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with local governments, to ensure the organization of celebrations within the specified time frame.
