Days of Tatarstan Culture Started in Moscow

Days of Tatarstan culture in Moscow have begun with presentation of books published in the republic in the bookstore “Biblio-Globus”. This was reported by the press office of the RT Mission in Russia.
Deputy Prime Minister – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Akhmetshin thanked the bookstore management for organizing the meeting and noted that books published in Tatarstan have not been submitted to the Biblio-Globus yet.
At the same time, RT Plenipotentiary in the Russian Federation expressed hope for a change in the situation and gave the store books about the first President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and military historian, Army General Mahmut Gareev, cardiac surgeon Renat Akchurin and opera singer Fyodor Shalyapin.
Then the doctor of sociological sciences, professor, the honorary consul of France in Kazan, Andrei Ershov, presented his book “Modern in the Architecture of Kazan”. It provides information on the buildings of the capital of Tatarstan, built at the turn of the XIX and XX centuries, and their creators.
The meeting was also attended by chairman of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Tatarstan Danil Salikhov, people’s poets of Tatarstan Renat Haris and Robert Minnullin. Renat Haris gave the bookstore a collection of his translated into Tatar language poems by Gavril Derzhavin.
In addition, the young poetess Liliya Safina read one of her poems, and the artist Naila Zhiganshina told about the peculiarities of the Tatar costume.
