Developers of the remake of the online school “Ana Tele” present the new platform

By the start of the new academic year, the online Tatar language school “Ana Tele” has resumed its work. At a press conference at Tatar-inform, representatives of the developer company LLC Progress spoke about the updates and new features of the platform.

“Starting today, the most modern online school — a full-fledged school transferred into virtual space — opens its doors,” said Eduard Baldakov, Executive Director of LLC Progress.

Learning the Tatar language from Elementary to Upper-Intermediate remains free, accessible anytime and anywhere (with an internet connection), and on any operating system. This is made possible by the site’s adaptive interface, which ensures the “Ana Tele” page displays correctly on any user device. The platform does not have a mobile app, which Baldakov called an “outdated model of user interaction.”

“You don’t need to download anything. You can access Ana Tele through your phone’s browser. Your data will be synchronized, and you can continue learning without downloads and without providing personal information,” Baldakov explained.

According to the developer, installing a mobile app typically requires users to share their data with the creators. At the same time, the absence of a desktop application comes with one inconvenience: a constant internet connection is required.

Currently, the platform has over 1,000 registered “students.” The training program includes 72 sections, nine levels of difficulty, and more than 6,000 exercises. According to the creators, the online school develops all language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Speaking accuracy is analyzed by Yandex’s neural network.

Baldakov noted that many modern e-learning products develop only passive skills, while the heart of Ana Tele is meant to be live lessons with teachers. However, these lessons are not yet available on the platform. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Minzaliya Zakirova confirmed that there is no set date for their launch.

“At the moment, there is no more modern and complete school,” Baldakov stated with confidence.

The project was developed over nine months by 40 programmers, in cooperation with relevant institutions and agencies of Tatarstan.

The company has previous experience in creating Govori Ru, a platform for learning Russian as a foreign language. Comparing the two products, Baldakov said Ana Tele is clearly superior in quality.

After completing the course, users can obtain a certificate confirming their Tatar language proficiency. Deputy Minister Zakirova clarified the validity of the certificate:

“Whether or not this certificate is recognized is up to the discretion of the educational institution or employer,” she said.
