The Italian Hall of the Academy of Fine Arts of St. Petersburg a personal exhibition by Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, the artistic director of the Russian Academy of Arts GFN Vinera Abdullina will take place exhibition. The event is organized with the support of the Tatar community in St. Petersburg and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region

Vinera Abdullina is the artistic director of gypsum molding workshop of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts studio.
The sculptor’s works are in the collections of the Museum of National Culture NCC “Kazan”, private collections adorn the streets and buildings of Moscow, St. Petersburg, the city of Makhachkala (the monument “Peter I»), Ivanovo (monument to General of the Army
V.F. Margelov “Batya”) and other cities of the Russian Federation.
Vinera Abdullina – a well known sculptor and today is one of the brightest and most active representatives of Modern Art in St. Petersburg. Her works impress by their sincerity and simplicity. The leading role in her works take Tatar themes, and meaning of her life she considers spreading and development of Tatar culture and the arts.
Tatar theme in the works of Vinera Abdullina became the center of attraction of all her spiritual and creative powers, it became the source of inspiration that stimulates her creativity and irrepressible need to implement it in a sculpture. She made a series of works on Tatar themes: “Sabantui”, “Avylym”, “Soyembike” Tatar portraits of our contemporaries.
