On April 29, an international conference on the exchange of experience of compatriots abroad was held in Dubai.

The event was attended by the Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars Danis Shakirov, Director of the Moscow House of Compatriots Dmitry Kozhaev, Vice Consul of Russia in Dubai Rasul Kasimov.

Danis Shakirov welcomed the guests on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev and told about the work of WCT with compatriots.

Rasul Kasimov, Vice Consul of Russia in Dubai, also welcomed the participants of the conference on behalf of the Consulate of Russia in Dubai. He read out the greeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

As a result of the conference, Kamil Galiullin, who lives in Dubai, was appointed representative of the World Congress of the Tatars in the United Arab Emirates.
