A round table on the exchange of experience in working with compatriots abroad was held in Kazan yesterday. Similar events organized by the Government of Moscow were held this year in Kaliningrad, Khabarovsk, Vladikavkaz, and Grozny.
Yesterday’s round table, organized with the support of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars, was attended offline and online by representatives of 15 regions and 7 countries. The purpose of the event was to exchange best practices for working with compatriots living abroad.
The moderator of the round table was the Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Danis Shakirov. He greeted the participants on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the WСT Vasil Shaykhraziev.
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Kazan Radik Vakhitov read out a greeting from Alexander Nurizade, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s department for work with compatriots abroad. The letter noted the great work of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars with compatriots living in foreign countries. Danis Shakirov referred to projects of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars in the field of work with compatriots.
