Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, the songwriter Flora Vafina invites viewers on January 28, 2015, at the presentation of her author’s patriotic program “Soldier of Victory”. The concert is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Flora Vafina was born and raised in the Urals, in the city of Magnitogorsk, in a large family. After graduation she worked as an engineer-technologist in Chelyabinsk, was engaged in the club of art song, finished courses of singer-songwriters, was the leader of the club’s of amateur song. Gradually the hobby art song turned into a profession. Since 1992 she has began to write her own songs. In the competition for young composers “Artstart-92” she won the Audience Award, released a collection of lyrical songs “White Snow”. In 1997, she won the competition of the Moscow city romance with the song “Night Bird”.

She graduated from the Magnitogorsk State Conservatory. She has been awarded for concert performances by diploma of the Northern Fleet. In 2003 – the winner of the German television project “Strong Women of Russia”.

She cooperates with the cultural centers of the Russian Interior Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, the FSB, the Russian Army, Center for Disaster Medicine “Protection”, Moscow House of Veterans and Armed Forces and patriotic clubs and community organizations.

The concert will take place at 16:00 in the Big Concert Hall of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
