September 9 historians and local lore specialists of the Republic of Crimea and the Tyumen oblast at the round table “From the Crimea to Siberia: the preservation and popularization of the medieval historical and cultural heritage” will discuss the issues of historical heritage of the Tatar khanates – Crimean and Siberian ones. The organizers of the round table – Congress of Tatars of the Tyumen oblast, the Union of Crimean Tatar ethnographers and Historical Museum (Bakhchisarai). In discussions on the preservation of a single Tatar heritage will participate scientists, historians, museum and public figures Rinat Nasyrov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Congress of
Tatars of the Tyumen oblast, Zaytuna Tychinskii, Chairman of the Union of Tatar regional specialists of the Tyumen region, Venera Latypova, Director of the museum of Siberian Tatarculture of village Embaevo et al.
From the Crimea to Siberia, a guest at the roundtable will be Gulliver Altin, founder of the Crimean Historical Museum-Reserve in the Republic of Crimea (Bakhchisarai). He will tell about his experience of creating a private museum and unique assets, they hold more than 1,5 thousand exhibits on the history of the Crimean Khanate. And in 2014 on the basis of the museum a branch of the Institute of History after Sh. Mardzhani of RT Academy of sciences was opened.
The point at the round table will focus on the interaction between the heirs of two khanates, the exchange of historical materials and the need for a scientific center in Siberia, like a branch of the Institute of History after S. Mardzhani RT AS. “It is necessary to seek the establishment of a state-level museum, on the basis of which constant research will be carried out. This is the only way possible to
preserve and promote the historical heritage “, – said Gulliver Altin.
Another topic of the round table will be the inclusion of the Siberian Khanate in the all-Russian Tatar tourist route “Tatar-tour.” The route will pass through Kazan? Crimean, Astrakhan, Siberian Khanates, as well as through other regions of the Russian Federation. These are Kalmykia, Caucasus, Krasnodar region, and others.
It is assumed that the “Tatar – tour” will acquaint visitors with the history of the Golden Horde, Tatar Yurts in connection with the Russian principalities. It will tell the story of centuries of peaceful co-existence of Islam and Orthodox Christianity and other faiths.
The roundtable program – opening of the exhibition “Pages of history of the Crimean Khanate and Crimean Tatars from the XV-XX centuries.”. In Tyumen from the funds of the Crimean Historical Museum-Reserve will deliver prints and lithographs European artists, in which the author describes the
life of the Crimean Tatars in the interaction with Europe.
Round table and exhibition opening will take place on September 9, at 15:00 pm, in the Center of Tatar culture in Tyumen (st. Shcherbakova 4/11).
