Within the framework of the national program “The united family of peoples of Uzbekistan” in Tashkent, at the Palace “Turkistan” a solemn evening of the Tatar language, art and culture, dedicated to the Day of Tatarstan, the 24th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence, the 55th anniversary of the Tatar-Bashkir ensemble “Yashlek”, 30th anniversary of the Tatar-Bashkir ensemble “Duslyk,” the 25th anniversary of the Tatar Public Cultural and Educational Centre (TPCEC) of Tashkent, the 15th anniversary of the Tatar group “Bulgar” took place.

The evening has been organized by TPCEC of Tashkent with the assistance of the Republican International Cultural Center, Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo, Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The ceremony in Tashkent was attended by representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tashkent, the national-cultural centers of the country, representatives of the media, intellectuals.

Tyurdenev, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Union of Public Associations “World Congress of Tatars ” D.F. Shakirov, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan V.N. Shulika, representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan R. Shakirov, Chairman of Tashkent TPCEC A.D.Nabiullin, Chairman of the Board of Elders TPCEC of Tashkent R.A. Giniyatullin welcomed and congratulated the gathering.

D.F. Shakirov congratulated his compatriots on the Day of Tatarstan and the 25th anniversary of the Tatar Cultural Center and presented WCT medals, letters of thanks and gifts to TPCEC of Tashkent and its chairman, creative groups and activists of the center.
