Greetings from the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region S.I. Morozov organizers and participants of the All-Russian Festival of Tatar Media
December 07, 2019
Dear friends!
I am glad to welcome the participants of the II All-Russian Festival of Tatar Media in the hospitable Ulyanovsk land!
I fully support the main goals of this forum, which its organizers determined – the exchange of accumulated work experience, the development of interregional cooperation between national media, the strengthening of peace and friendship between peoples.
It is gratifying that the Ulyanovsk Region was chosen as the venue for such a large-scale festival. This is no coincidence. Since 1930, the newspaper “Kyumek kyoch” (“Collective Power”) has been published at the Starokulatkinsky District, which has never changed its name. In 1989, for the first time in the USSR (except for the Republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan), the regional Tatar newspaper “Emet” began to be published, celebrating its 30th anniversary these days. The Chishme TV show, which is very popular among viewers, also celebrates the same round date. Since 2012, a branch of the Tatarstan-New Century TV and Radio Company has been successfully operating in Ulyanovsk.
Ulyanovsk national mass media, as well as mass media published in the Tatar language in other constituent entities of the Russian Federation, undoubtedly play a large role in the implementation of state national policy, in the development of the language and culture of the Tatar people, in maintaining international peace and harmony.
I wish all participants of the festival good health, prosperity, new creative achievements!
Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region S.I. Morozov
