A delegation of muftis from the republics of the North Caucasus visited the Tatar Cultural Center in Moscow. The delegation headed by the Mufti of Karachay-Cherkessia Ismail Berdiev included the Mufti of Kabardino-Balkaria Khazrataliy Dzasezhev, the Mufti of Dagestan Akhmed Abdullaev, the Mufti of the Stavropol Territory Muhammad Rakhimov, the Mufti of Adygea and Krasnodar Territory Askarbiy Kardanov, the Mufti of North Ossetia Khadzhimurat Gatsalov.
The head of the Moscow Tatar Autonomy, Farit Farisov, told them about the activities of the Autonomy and the Center, as well as the history of the Moscow Tatar community. Local historian Marat Safarov described the First Congress of Muslims of Russia, in which representatives of the Caucasus took an active part.
A concert was organized as a sign of friendship and respect for the guests. It was attended by the Miras ensemble, the Shatlyk folklore ensemble, the Ildan dance ensemble, and the Medina sacred music ensemble.
