Imam of the Tevrizsky district (Omsk region) Ruslan Vakhitov was posthumously awarded the medal of the World Congress of the Tatars. He died in Ukraine in the fall of 2022.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev presented Ruslan Vakhitov’s son Marat with the medal “For Great Services to the Tatar Nation”. The medal was presented during the plenary session of the XIII All-Russia Forum of Tatar religious leaders.
