The national-cultural autonomy of the Tatars of the Moscow Region has summed up the year and outlined plans for 2019. In the new year, the Tatars movement at the Moscow region will closely cooperate with the “Tatars of Moscow Headquarters”. The decision of the two sides has been fixed on paper, the press service of the Tatars Headquarters reported.
The entire Tatar public gathered at the final meeting: artists, writers, scholars, members of Tatar art groups, leaders, council members and activists of Tatar autonomies in the cities of the Moscow Region.
The partnership document has been signed by the leaders of the movements Farit Mukhtasarov and Rustem Yamaleev. Tatar organizations will strengthen actions to solve the problems of scientific and cultural development, strengthen economic and social ties, preserve the traditions, language and culture of the Tatar people.
The partnership will result in cultural and educational events aimed at young people. In the coming year, the Headquarters of the Tatars will take an active part in the organization and holding the regional Sabantuy near Moscow in the city of Shchelkovo.
The outgoing year was fruitful for the Tatars of the Moscow region: the organizers held dozens of cultural and educational events, a regional Sabantuy was successfully held in Sergiev Posad, a memorial evening for the Tatar poet Fanis Yarullin, as well as the traditional youth forum Urman Kule and much more.
