President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Tatars of the Chelyabinsk region. The event was held at the House of Friendship of Peoples of Magnitogorsk. In a meeting took part Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council Vasil Shaikhraziev, Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Boris Dubrovsky and Head of the City of Magnitogorsk Sergei Berdnikov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Tatar Congress of the Chelyabinsk Region Lena Kolesnikova, Chairperson of the Council of the Magnitogorsk City Public Organization “Local National -cultural autonomy of Tatars “Tatar Rukhy” Kadiminur Tagirov.
In the course of the round table discussions were held on the need to create a “Tatar center of culture and history” in the city of Magnitogorsk, proposals for the installation of a monument to the repressed first-builders of Magnitogorsk, the opening of the corporation of TV channel TNV (Tatarstan – New Century) in Magnitogorsk and about bringing the print run to 15 thousand inserts “Bez Berga ” of the newspaper “Tatar Rukhy”, about the opening of direct air communication Magnitogorsk-Kazan.
Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Congress of Tatars of the Chelyabinsk region Lena Kolesnikova told the life of the Tatars of the Chelyabinsk region, noted that the opening of the monument to G.Tukay is planned. She also suggested that in 2020, the Federal Sabantuy in Chelyabinsk to be held. Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky supported this idea and said that each issue will be worked out by the local administration.
Rustam Minnikhanov marked in his speech about close cooperation between Tatarstan and the Chelyabinsk region in the economic and humanitarian spheres. Rustam Minnikhanov said that wherever he was, he tries to meet with his compatriots. According to him, all proposals sounded at the meeting are fixed and will be the corresponding instructions of the President of Tatarstan.
Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Mars Tukayev congratulated those present on the Day of the Elderly Man and presented memorable gifts to compatriots.
