Presentation of the Tatar musical culture was held on Saturday September 26 in a big hall of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory named after Maldybaev. The guests of the concert were ex- President of R.I. Otunbayeva, the ambassadors of the United States Ms. Sheila Gwaltney, Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Takayuki Koike, ambassadors of Kazakhstan and Pakistan, Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation Mr. Alexei Mzareulov, schoolchildren of Bishkek and new buildings, citizens and guests of the capital, the website of “Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva ” informs.
The concert program acquainted visitors with the main holiday of the Tatars Sabantui. The Sabantui is translated as the feast of the plow from the Tatar word Saban (plow) and (tui)-holiday and is carried out after completion of the spring planting season. Incendiary Tatar dance tune, melodic songs, harmonics tunes, and more – fun contests for children and refreshments by traditional Tatar pastries – all of this was presented in the program. On history of Tatars in Kyrgyzstan told the historian Anisa Bikbulatova. The entire Tatar music is built of only five notes, and very similar to the Chinese,
Japanese, Tibetan music as well as blues music told the teacher of Kyrgyz National Conservatory Farkhad Valiyev. The most beautiful and well-known Tatar songs were performed by guest- a well known singer from Kazan Gulshat Imamievoy.
As noted in his speech, the former president of R.I. Otunbayeva: “At this concert we enjoyed the Tatar music and songs, enjoyed a great time and learned a lot about the culture of our Tartars. We are richer because they enrich our knowledge. ”
At the end of the concert conducted by head of the Tatar-Bashkir cultural center Gulsina Ulmaskulova sent a letter of thanks to the chairman of the executive committee of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov.
