Today, in Kazan, in a madrasah named after a 1000th anniversary of the adoption of Islam a master class on Mawlid al- Nabi was held.

The students of KVMM of correspondence department were taught special aspects of the Prophet Muhammad birthday.

They arrived in Kazan for the winter session. Most of them – functioning imams in their villages. More than 40 of the 70 students came from other regions of Russia.

The need for training is long overdue , as it is in Tatarstan Mawlid is conducted according to the canons of traditional Islam.

“Earlier, we also held master classes for our students, but it was not systematic. At the end of last year, the Religious Board of Muslims of Tatarstan released a book, where all the zikrs, chants dedicated to Maulid were assembled. So we have decided to show the entire process to shakirds , “- rector of madrassa Ilyas Ziganshin says.

Master class began after midday prayer and ended with the sunset prayer. The Maulid participants interrupted only to commit the afternoon prayer, which was after the meal. It is also a necessary element of a holiday , because according to tradition there on the table should be dishes that were favored by the Prophet Muhammad.

The acquired knowledge, the students will apply in their home places. The classes to be over on Friday. Time for Maulid still is enough. Since a month of the birth of the Messenger of Allah – Rabigul – Avval – will last until January 31.
