In Krasnoyarsk, on the island of Tatyshev, the XV Federal Sabantui has opened. This year’s festival is supported by the Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Federal holiday of plow began with a theatrical staging, which was attended by Tatarstan’s creative collectives, mostly from Nizhnekamsk, in conjunction with various Tatar communities of the Krasnoyarsk Krai. The main theme of the performance – demonstration of the cultural traditions of the Tatar people.
Dressed in festive national clothes, young artists performed several folk Tatar songs and dances. The representatives of the Tatar Diaspora of Buryatia, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Volgograd, Kurgan, Kirov, Vladimir region – all of the 36 regions of Russia. In particular, the Republic of Tatarstan has gathered a creative delegation of 500 people for participation in the XV Anniversary of All-Russian Sabantui in Krasnoyarsk.
The culmination of the theatrical performance was the presentation of dish, the world famous traditional Tatar sweets – chak-chak. Girls in national costumes and offered a few dozen of trays to the spectator’s stands with this treat, which nobody left indifferent.
At the official opening ceremony of the festival of plow Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai Viktor Tolokonskiy and acting President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part.
In his welcoming remarks, head of the Krasnoyarsk noted that “Sabantui today – it’s great cultural tradition of the Tatar people, whose members live and work in all regions of great Russia. It is a friendship of all the peoples of our country, when at the same table drink tea all cultures and faiths; it’s a great story, a great moment and a big future. ”
Victor Tolokonski on behalf of all Krasnoyarsk thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the tremendous help in the organization of the federal Sabantui. After that, Governor solemnly for contribution to the preservation of interethnic harmony awarded diplomas and letters of thanks to managers Tatar public organizations operating in the Krasnoyarsk Krai.
In turn, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all the guests of Federal holiday and thanked the leadership of the Krasnoyarsk Krai for responsiveness and work to preserve the national identity of the Tatars in the region. “Today we have come here, to this beautiful land, and I want to share my impressions. As if we did not leave Tatarstan. We saw the farmsteads where our Tatars living here preserved the language, culture and identity. This indicates the great potential of our vast Russian state and attention of the Krai leadership to all nationalities could maintain their traditions. I find it very nice. Federal Sabantui – a momentous event for all of us, not only the Tatars. This is a great opportunity to show our culture that we for hundreds of years have been living in peace and harmony – the factors of today’s celebration. This level, with a scale like here, we have not been able to hold such holiday, “- Rustam Minnikhanov said.
In an interview with reporters, Rustam Minnikhanov marked that “it is the most organized and powerful federal Sabantui.” According to him, the festival of the plow – the most important holiday of Tatars, combining the tradition of all the people living in different parts of our country and the world.
Acting President of Tatarstan wished the audience a pleasant rest, and gave thanks of the President of Tatarstan to members of the regional public organization of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy (RNCAT) Krasnoyarsk Krai “Yar” Ravil Gainutdinov, Zinnur Mansurov and Khalil Ismagilov, and the honorary title “Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan” and “Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan” Vagiz Faizullin and Damir Akhmetgaliev respectively.
