Intar’s “Marquee of Ramadan” in Moscow was dedicated to the Muslim Women Union of Russia. The event was attended by representatives of Tatar organizations, including the “Tatar headquarters of Moscow”. At the invitation of the Union of Muslims Women of Russia, the event was visited by Coordinator of the Tatars Headquarters, Gulnara Yarullina.
The evening traditionally began with reading of the ayahs of the Holy Quran. After that, the guests were addressed by chairman of the Union of Muslims of Russia Nailya Khanum Ziganshina, the website of Shater Ramadan reports.
“Our organization unites all Muslims of Russia under a single wing. And, first of all, we try to be useful to the society. We have implemented such projects as the Family Center, Family Preservation Center, the Union of Muslim Designers, and individual charity projects. Our representative offices in the regions are also actively working, ”said Nailya Khanum, noting the basic principles and areas of work of the Union of Muslims Women of Russia.
Olga Yepifanova, Chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, also expressed willingness to cooperate.
“A woman is the keeper of hearth, she creates comfort and warmth at home. And our task is to help growing girls get an education, develop their talents for the benefit of their future family and society. We have a women’s club in the State Duma, and we are ready to provide a platform for discussing issues that you consider actual. Let’s be friends! ”- said Olga Yepifanova.
Artur Hazrat Gubaidullin spoke on behalf of the Union Muslim of Russia and RF Religious Board of Muslims. He noted a special role of women in the history of Islam.
The guests of the evening were offered a rich program, in which various speakers with interesting topics took part. Pupils together with their teachers of the madrasa put several scenes dedicated to the Holy month of Ramadan.
An exciting quiz for children was held. Also, at the party performances by talented girls were presented, who perfectly performed nashids and poems of their own composition.
A spectacular display of Muslim women’s clothing was a real decoration of the evening.
