Today, on July 25, a meeting of the organizing committee dedicated to the preparation and hosting of the 26th Federal Sabantuy took place in the Omsk region. The gathering brought together representatives of government bodies and public organizations.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Vasil Shaykhraziev, along with Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region, Ivan Kolesnik, addressed the attendees with welcoming remarks. They emphasized the importance of the upcoming event for strengthening interethnic dialogue, preserving cultural traditions, and fostering cooperation between regions.

The meeting covered key organizational issues, the event program, and coordination among various services and agencies. Participants noted that hosting the Sabantuy in the Omsk region is a significant event that promotes Tatar culture and strengthens the friendship among the peoples of Russia.
