“The people who do not know their past, have no future,” so the Orenburg young people believe, who had gathered to “Aulak oi ” in a restaurant “Shaffran”.
The Orenburg Tatar youth under adult supervision communicated.
Probably every Tartar knows what is “Aulak oi ” ?!
“Aulak oi ” – a home that remained for a while in the care of a young girl. Parents, leaving for guests, trust daughter to keep order at home. To take care of her and look after home hosts committed grandmother or neighbor!
The youth wing of the NGO of Orenburg Tatar National Culture organizes already the second independent event. With the support of senior members of the Orenburg Tatar autonomy guys coped with the first project.
“We wanted to tell and show the current generation tradition of gatherings in Tatar villages, – says the curator of the Union of Tatar Youth of NGO OTNK Reseda Zagirova. – Previously youth in Tatar villages gathered at one home, where they could spend the evening, and the guys at the same time and watched the bride. We want to tell the current generation about the importance of preserving traditions, language, folklore, our mothers and fathers, but to get possibility to have fun. ”
Restaurant scene was transformed into an old Tatar house, benches were ready made, quilts on the walls adorned with towels, embroidered by young girls, and on the table a samovar and sweets waiting for the arrival of guests.
The girls got together at gatherings and, of course, did not come empty-handed. In gratitude, the owners brought home “balesh” (pie). Each is engaged in a useful housekeeping. Someone knits, someone embroiders. All this is accompanied by sincere songs, proverbs and sayings. Boys, meanwhile, peep through the windows, and finally decide to join, too. But they are just not admitted so simply. According to ancient custom they have something to pay off, whether it be dance or song. Youngsters also do not come empty-handed, they brought kushtanyach “(treats) for girls. Going into the house, young
men and women exchange with each other by friendly comic ditties.
And then at home at the sounds of the accordion playing, dancing starts.
Conviviality is felt throughout. The invited guests do not stay aside .
All the guests joined the old Tatar games “Tamchy tam”, “Tubyatay”, “Kerezle telephone.” Mo one remained indifferent to songs performed by Artur Asyaev. Adel Asyaeva and Tatar ensemble “Chulpan” pleased by their dancing.
Further, dances were accompanied by fun games. Holiday was a success! All praise and smiles never left the face during the evening.
The founder of these evenings for young people is the NGO Council of OTNC:
“Young people today spend much time on the Internet, social networks, a few who remember how fore-fathers spent their evenings, do not know their traditions and customs, -shares his opinion Chairman of the Board of the NGO OTNC Ruslan Zabirov. -We are now pleased to see that among the
younger generation there are those who are not indifferent to the fate of its people and culture. ”
Te main purpose of the event – acquaintance with elements of folk ceremonies and celebrations that young people should know about the customs and traditions that are passed from generation to generation, as they rightly say: “The people who do not know their past, have no future.”
