On September 23, the Republican Palace of Culture (RPC)hosted the IX Republican festival-contest of the Tatar song “Avylym tavishlary” (“Native Songs”), organized by the Ministry of Culture, National Policy, Tourism and Archives of the Republic of Moldova, the Republican House of Folk Art and the administration of the Lyambirsky District. The main task of the festival-contest is the preservation and development of national songs traditions of the Tatar people.
This year, amateur artists from 10 regions of Mordovia and Saransk took part in the festival-contest. On the stage of the RPC, about 100 artists showed 35 numbers. Participants of the festival-contest competed in the nominations: “Folk Vocal”, “Variety Vocal”.
Deputy Minister of Culture, National Policy, Tourism and Archives of the Republic of Moldova Albert Syavkaev congratulated all those present on the holiday, wished the participants inspiration, and the audience – a vivid impression.
– Culture brings our people closer, preserves traditions, the identity of the people, spiritual and moral values, and we are more concerned about our homeland. Thanks to such creative competitions, we learn a lot about each other, and most importantly about ourselves, because it is a great act, a sign of respect for each other, to learn the culture, the national traditions of the people you live with. In joint creativity, people reveal their best qualities: kindness, the desire for creativity and generosity of the soul, “he said.
Memorial medals were awarded for the contribution to the 2018 World Cup: Victor Kirsanov, director of the cultural and sports center Almaz, Gyuzel Kazakova, chorus master of the folk song and dance ensemble Umyrzaya, Elena Shumarova, artistic director of the cultural and sports center Almaz, the Almaz Sports Center, Alsu Syubaeva, methodist of the Tatar National Culture Department, Larissa Vanina, choreographer of the Umyrzaya folk song and dance ensemble.
First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Danis Shakirov presented letters of gratitude for contribution to the development of the Tatar national culture.
The diploma of the honorary citizen of the Lyambir region was given to Qasim Khalilov, the first master of sports of the international class in Greco-Roman wrestling in Mordovia, who made a great contribution to the development of sports of the republic and the country.
The youngest artist Karina Shamsutdinova from Saransk performed the song “Almagachlary” (“Apple Tree”) and became a laureate of the I degree. The owner of the Grand Prix of the festival became Artem Kostyuk from the Lyambir region.
– This is the first time I’ve been on the jury of this festival, but I’ve been facing a contest for several years already – organizing participants from Ruzaevsky district. From the festival-competition received a large number of positive emotions, despite the large contest program, the festival was held in one breath. Such events are necessary for our republic, they are important for revival, preservation of the Tatar culture and revealing new talents, – the member of jury Timur Chugunov, chairman of the youth active of Tatars of Ruzaevsky district of RM shared his impressions.
The hall of the Republican Palace of Culture was filled with lovers and connoisseurs of the Tatar song. The audience warmly and emotionally supported all the performers and enthusiastically spoke about the event.
