August 18, 2018,  in the city of Tara Kurultai (Congress) of the Turkic peoples of the Omsk region will take place.

The event is supported by the Government of the Omsk Region and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The purpose of the event is the consolidation of public figures and national and cultural centers of the Omsk city of   the  Omsk  oblast, mending   their mutually beneficial cooperation and  exchange of experience.

On the agenda is the discussion of issues on the preservation and development of culture, traditions and language, interaction between government bodies, public organizations, cultural and educational institutions, involving young people in social activities and prospects for several years. Also,  at the event for the purpose of managing  project activities and providing financial support, a competition of projects aimed at developing and preserving the national culture will be held.

Representatives of authorities, clergy, youth and national-cultural organizations from 10 districts of Omsk region will take part in the event.
