As part of the event program for the exhibition “City and Craft: A Meeting in Kazan. Traditional Art of the Volga Tatars,” the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve will host a screening of the documentary film “Prometheus. The Poem of Kazan Fire” on February 1, followed by an open discussion with documentary filmmaker Didar Orazov.

The film tells the story of the unique student design bureau “Prometheus,” which pioneered a new form of art—light music. The screening will be accompanied by a meeting with Didar Orazov, head of the Gorizont Films production center, whose films have received international recognition, including a Special Mention from the ARFF 2023 jury (Paris), a semifinal win at ARFF 2021 (Berlin), and the Best Documentary Film award at MosFilmFest 2022 (Moscow).
