The international festival-competition of Bashkir and Tatar songs “Idel” will again be held in Ufa. November 15 will be a competition day, November 16 – a gala concert with the awarding of laureates and performances by jury members. This year the event is included in the national project “Culture” and organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The organizing committee received 74 applications for participation. According to the results of the qualifying round and absentee listening in eight categories, 42 applications went to the finals. Young performers from Ufa, Kazan, Moscow, Oktyabrsky, Sterlitamak, Ulyanovsk, Chistopol, Atkarsk, as well as Zianchurinsky, Burzyansky, Salavatsky districts of Bashkortostan will take part in the competition. In addition, it is planned to participate performers from China and the Republic of Crimea. The laureates of the festival will become the holders of the statuettes and will receive gifts from the organizing committee and partners of the festival.
“Every year the project is becoming more popular. The plans include field trips in the republic to conduct local screening. We hope that we will succeed in this in the near future, we want to expand the geography of participants from Bashkortostan, ”the festival organizers say.
We remind that the Idel song festival is held in 2011, declared the Year of Strengthening Interethnic Concord in Russia. Over the years, the idel laureates have become famous artists today: Radik Yuliakshin, Rishat Tukhvatullin, Zilia Bakhtieva, Liliana Gazizova, Aigiz Khanov and others.
2020 will be the anniversary year for the Idel festival – the project will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
