In Volgograd, the 11th All-Russian Festival of National Cultures “From the Volga to the Don” was held. This year it is devoted to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Stalingrad Victory. The creative works have been presented by masters from 12 regions.
RNCAT of the Volgograd Region and the city of Volgograd also took part in the festival. With patriotic songs about the war, our famous singer-songwriter Nailya Mukhamedzhanova performed about the victory. The collective from the village of M. Chapurniki “Tugan Yak” has delighted us with its performance. The audience sang with pleasure and started to dance. The atmosphere of the festival was very friendly. A great gift for Volgograd residents was acquaintance with the team “Zhanash” from Tatarstan, Aznakayevo.
The festival was also attended by masters of decorative and applied art. They presented their works at the exhibition-fair – products made of ceramics, leather, embroidery, pottery, dolls, open-work feather shawls, vine crafts, wooden panels and much more. Guests of the holiday learned how to weave baskets, make toys, spinning from down, blacksmithing and pottery.
Note that this year in the festival participated representatives of the Volgograd, Astrakhan, Voronezh, Rostov, Saratov regions, Krasnodar, Perm Krai, Tatarstan, Mariy-El, Chuvashia, Kalmykia, North Ossetia-Alania.
Such meetings further strengthen the desire to work in their regions, to continue the traditions and customs of their people. Showing children such events, we will preserve the culture of our people, we will instill love for our nation.
