On Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the sports arena “Youth” of Ryazan City the II interethnic Spartakiada “Make friends with peoples” took place.
The competition was attended by representatives of seven national associations, organizations and communities of Ryazan: Ryazan Regional human rights Cultural Center of the Russian-Turkmen friendship “Miras”, Ryazan local Uzbek national-cultural autonomy “Almaz “, the team “Ararat” of Armenian spiritual-cultural society “Luys”, Ryazan regional Jewish national-cultural autonomy” Maccabi, Ryazan “Sports club” Volna” of Ryazan state instrument plant, the team” Bahtalo Roma” of Ryazan local Roma national and cultural autonomy of Ryazan and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Ryazan region.
Total, the Spartakiada was attended by over a hundred people. From Religious Board of Muslims of the Ryazan oblast 12 members were announced. At the opening ceremony, a welcoming speech to the participants of the competition pronounced head of the physical culture and sports administration of the city of Ryazan Marina Kashcheeva, who noted: “Sports Arena – the best place where they can make friends with peoples of different nations and nationalities. I hope that today’s meeting will be not only competition, but also a tribute to a healthy lifestyle and an occasion to strengthen our friendship. ” Participants and spectators welcomed the representative of the Department for physical culture and sports administration of the city of Ryazan, Vladimir Lensky, head of additional measures for the prevention of crime Dmitry Ospennikov. Chief Judge of the competition was the judge of category I, Honorary worker of physical culture and sports of the Ryazan oblast, Igor Zyulin.
The II city interethnic Spartakiada will run until October, in contrast to the past, one more
competition has been added this year. Participants will compete in six sports: the All-Russian competition of “Ready for Labor and Defense” (GTO) complex, shooting from the pneumatic weapon, table tennis, chess, football and arm wrestling. GTO competitions are divided by age: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and over 70 years old.
The winners II urban ethnic Games “Make friends with peoples” have received diplomas and prizes from the management of physical culture and sports administration of the city of Ryazan.
