The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan is holding an Interregional Tatar language olympiad on February 14-17. The Olympiad is organized to provide practical assistance to students and teachers of the Tatar language and literature.

Schoolchildren of 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th grades from 27 subjects of Russia take part in the Olympiad. They are the winners of the regional stages of the Olympiads.

On February 15-16, the Olympiad will be held at the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On February 16 at the Tatar State Theater of Drama and Comedy named after Karim Tinchurin will be the closing ceremony of the Olympiad.
