Starting from October, every Thursday, the Spiritual and Cultural Center of Saransk hosts engaging lessons on “Islamic Fundamentals and Spiritual Ethics” for children in two age groups:
• Younger group (ages 5–7) meets from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Older group (ages 8–13) meets from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
The lessons are tailored to the children’s age to ensure that learning is both effective and engaging.
The aim of these lessons is to introduce children to the basics of Islam, as well as Islamic behavioral norms and etiquette. Special attention is given to understanding the core principles of Islam and their significance in the life of a Muslim.
For the younger group, lessons are conducted in a playful manner, helping children better understand the material through creative tasks and crafts that develop motor skills and aid in better retention. Children learn about proper behavior through role-playing games and creative projects, making the learning process both enjoyable and valuable.
In the older group, there is a deeper focus on Islamic etiquette, emphasizing respect for elders, caring for others, and the importance of good conduct.
Learning at an early age forms the foundation for one’s future life. During this period, values are instilled that shape a child’s personality and worldview. Understanding the importance of worship and adherence to Islamic principles helps children achieve inner harmony, respect for traditions, and confidence in their actions.
We invite everyone to join the lessons on the foundations of the spiritual and moral potential of Islam.
