October 25, 2013, national- cultural autonomy of the Tatars of the Chuvash Republic, Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Chuvash Republic, the Ministry of Culture, National Affairs and Archives of the Chuvash Republic carried out Interregional Research and practical conference on the theme: “National heritage” (Milli Miras ) and republican folk Festival “Miras”. These events will take place in the auditorium of Urmaevo information and cultural center of Komsomolsk region of the Chuvash Republic.

The conference is aimed at enhancing mutual understanding , friendship and respect between peoples that make up the Russian Federation, strengthening of the Tatar national identity, education and teaching process.

The scientists of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan , Chuvashia State Humanitarian University, historians, ethnographers of Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Mordovia , officials from education and culture regions of Chuvashia with compact living Tatar population, heads of the Tatar settlements, school principals , teachers of history, Tatar language and literature, music, after-school staff , workers of culture and art, librarians , heads of households , enterprises, institutions, businessmen, chairmen of Muslim congregations, imams, representatives of the public councils of Tatar villages are invited.
