In September, the third Sabantuy, organized by the Tatar diaspora in Italy, took place in Cento. The holiday brought together representatives of different nations. The organizers prepared the area and decorated the stage. Two huge 50-liter cauldrons for pilaf were brought specially from Moldova. The concert program included songs and dances of oriental peoples. Italian Diego Zanetti performed the Tatar song “Tugan Yak” (“Native Land”) with a guitar.

The event was accompanied by traditional games and competitions. At the end of the holiday, guests drank tea with the national Tatar dish chak-chak.

In total, about 150 people attended the celebration.
