The annual night festival of the plow was held last Saturday in the Sabine village of Minger. His honorary guests were foreign journalists accredited by FIFA. They are representatives of Argentina, Australia, Great Britain, Spain, India, Colombia, Germany, France, Japan and other countries.
On Sabantuy in Minger journalists went after the match France – Australia at the “Kazan Arena”. A long caravan of buses departed from the capital to the Sabinsky district. During the movement, the guide in English and Russian spoke about the national holiday of the plow, completing the spring-field work. The first thing that the representatives of the media in Minger saw was the high building of the hotel complex, resembling the Syuyumbike tower. Traditionally, the guests were met by girls in national costumes with a chak-chak. Journalists from around the world tried a sweet treat.

The highlight of the present holiday of the plow was the finals of the World Championship in wrestling koresh. Batyrs from more than forty countries came to meet him. Competitions were held in seven weight classes. Numerous spectators closely followed the final fights. The victory in their weight categories was celebrated by the members of the Russian national team Albert Rakhmatullin (Tyumen region) and Renas Kalimullin (Tatarstan). The awarding of the strongest batyrs was attended by the President of the Federation of the Russian Federation, Jaudat Minnahmetov.
During the breaks between wrestling wrestling on stage a concert program was held. Special guest of Sabantuy in Minger was the master of throat singing Chyltys Tannagasheva, known as Shors Shaman.
But Sabantuy is not only exciting spectacles, delicious dishes, handmade souvenirs, but also contests. In traditional games foreign journalists took part. In Minger correspondents from Australia, Venezuela, England, Zambia, Japan – all countries and not enumerate – competed with each other in running in bags and eggs, fervently fought on the beam with bags. The winners received well-deserved prizes. After acquaintance with souvenir production and national songs and dances representatives of mass-media have invited for a supper from the city-organizer of the world championship on football. Guests tasted echpochmaki, Tatar noodles, kazylyk, pilaf and other traditional dishes. As a memorable gift they were given a chak-chak and books dedicated to the struggle of the corset.
Sabantuy in Minger ended with a grandiose salute. Undoubtedly, journalists from other countries will take tons of pleasant impressions from Tatarstan and tell about our republic in their media, as well as friends and acquaintances. And probably, many of them will come to Kazan more than once.
