The festivities begin at 11.00 in the Park “Pribrezhny”.

As guests of honor the festival to be attended by the leaders of the district and the city, as well as representatives of the administration of several Kazan districts.

Within the event it is planned to sign an agreement on cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between the Zavolzhsky district of Ulyanovsk and Kazan urban areas.

In the course of events dedicated to celebrate the Sabantui, festivities, a concert with the participation of professional and amateur creative collectives, as well as competitions in weight-lifting, arm wrestling and tug of war were held.

The traditional award – sheep, the Sabantui participants will compete in national sport wrestling “Keresh.” For children a playground and sports fields to be arranged.

In order to prepare for a new school year in the framework of “Help get ready for school,” a solemn awarding schoolbags to children from low-income families takes place. In addition, the park holds honoring the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
