The “Kaleidoscope of Folk Art” club, part of the “Makhalla” project, continues to expand its membership within the Drozhzhzhanovsky Municipal District of the Republic.
Based at the district’s House of Culture, the project engages young participants in the traditional art of Tatar embroidery, teaching them the techniques of stitching on fabric. Following master classes and exhibitions open to the local community, there has been a notable increase in the number of young individuals eager to participate in the club’s activities.
The classes have equipped participants with the skills to craft pillows, bags, and scarves using the intricate art of embroidery. The finished products were showcased at exhibitions held during the Republic of Tatarstan Day celebrations and at the concert for the Drozhzhzhanovsky District’s Day of Culture.
The “Kaleidoscope of Folk Art” continues to flourish, attracting individuals who are passionate about preserving and enriching their cultural heritage.
