November 22, 2013, a local Muslim religious organization of Kasimov town of Ryazan oblast (LMOM of Kasimov) once again submitted an appeal to the town Administration of Kassimov, regarding transfer of buildings “New” mosque and ” Castro’s ” madrassa to ownership of Kasimov LMOM. Last month, the Muslim community has received a letter of refusal in passing of religious buildings with reference to incomplete documents. The new package is supplemented by info from regional archive in accordance with the Federal Law of 30.09.2010 № 327- FZ “On transfer of ownership under state or municipal ownership to property of religious organizations for religious purposes”. Kasimov Muslims hope that sooner or later, but the Muslim places of worship will be transferred to the believers.
