The 7th All-Russian Conference “The Tatars of the Urals. Tatar Settlements and Outstanding Figures of the Tatar People in the Iset, Sinara and Miass River Basins: History and Modernity” has opened in Kazan.

The event is held within the framework of the 12th Eurasian Scientific and Local History Forum “Tatars of the Volga–Ural Region: History and Modernity” and the Fourth Kamalov (Ust-Bagaryak) Scientific and Local History Readings.

The conference takes place at the World Congress of Tatars conference hall from 10:00 to 16:30. Participants are discussing historical heritage, cultural traditions, and the role of Ural Tatars in the development of the country.
