Kazan will be hosting the IX World Forum of Tatar Youth from the 21st to the 25th of August. Around 600 representatives of Tatar youth from 25 foreign countries, various regions of the Russian Federation, and Tatarstan itself are expected to attend.

The first day will see participants register and embark on a tour of Kazan titled “Kazan: The Heart of Tatar History”. In the evening, delegates will enjoy a performance at the Tatar State Academic Theatre named after Galiasgar Kamal.

The forum will be officially inaugurated on the 22nd of August at the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. The same day will see the commencement of work in 6 educational sections. To round off the day, Tatar youth from across the globe will be treated to a performance by the interregional Tatar KVN league “Aida ShayaRT” (“Әйдә ШаяРТ”).

On August 23rd, forum participants will visit Bolgar City, followed by a cultural programme in the evening. The 24th of August will see further sectional work and a visit to the “Hay Bazaar” festival.

The World Forum of Tatar Youth will hold its plenary session on August 25th. The Council of the World Forum of Tatar Youth will also hold a meeting on that day.
