Launch of the 2024 Photo Contest “Ethnographic Mosaic of the Tatar People”

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan is pleased to announce the launch of the photo contest “Ethnographic Mosaic of the Tatar People” for 2024.

Submissions for the contest will be accepted until October 20, 2024, in the following categories:

  • “Heirs of family values”;
  • “Traditions and rites”;
  • “Folk applied art”.

The contest is open to citizens of the Russian Federation aged 18 and older, who have submitted an application form along with their works within the specified deadlines, adhering to the themes and categories outlined in the contest regulations.

Entries may be submitted electronically via email at [email protected] or delivered on an electronic medium to the following address: 66/33 Pushkin St. (office 421), Kazan, 420015, Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan. All submissions must be marked “Photo Contest “Ethnographic Mosaic of the Tatar People” 2024” and must arrive no later than October 20, 2024.

Winners in each category will receive the following awards:

  • Diploma of 1degree with a cash prize of 65,000 rubles;
  • Diploma of 2 degree with a cash prize of 45,000 rubles;
  • Diploma of 3 degree with a cash prize of 25,000 rubles;

  • This photo contest is organized as part of the state program “Preservation of the National Identity of the Tatar People”, which was approved by Resolution No. 730 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on August 25, 2020.
