On November 29, 2019, an expanded meeting of the Executive Committee of the Congress of Tatars of the Chelyabinsk Region was held, in which members of the Executive Committee, heads of national and cultural centers of the region and activists of the Tatars Congress took part. Among the honored guests of the meeting was Dmitry I. Semenov, head of the Public Relations Department of the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Deputy Chairman of the Congress Sabirov Irek Nagimovich reported on the results of the Congress of Tatars of the Chelyabinsk Region and territorial Tatar national-cultural public associations for 2019.

Tasks for 2020 have been  set,  the  issues were discussed about celebrating events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the TASSR, the 10th anniversary of the Tatar Kyzy competition, the newspaper and the Khazin broadcast, and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Also, elections were held for the new composition of the executive committee and chairman. Voting passed unanimously, Lena Rafikovna Kolesnikova remains  Chairman of the executive committee of the Tatar Congress of the Chelyabinsk region.

As a result of the work, public men were awarded with Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation of Congress.
