“Yes, the order was signed even before the New Year. I did not consider it necessary to announce this earlier,” she told a correspondent from Tatar-inform.

“I, like many others, grew up reading his poems — this needs no further explanation. Everyone knows about his heroism. For me personally, Musa Jalil is especially valuable as an active young person of his time. Perhaps in the future we will try to present his personality from this perspective,” noted Lenaria Muslim.

After leaving her position as Head of the World Forum of Tatar Youth, Lenaria Muslim’s last place of work was the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Musa Jalil House Museum is a branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is located in Kazan at 17 Maxim Gorky Street. Musa Jalil lived in this house with his family in 1940–1941.
