March 29–31 in Kazan: 14th All-Russian gathering of entrepreneurs from tatar villages

This year, the gathering will bring together over 900 participants, including representatives of small businesses, farms, private homesteads, and government authorities. The event will serve as an important platform for sharing experiences and discussing the development of rural areas.

History of the Gathering

The World Congress of the Tatars has been actively working to preserve and develop Tatar villages. The All-Russian Public Organization “Tatar Villages of Russia”, established in 2008, is registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Its work involves successful rural entrepreneurs from across the country, representing promising sectors of rural business. Over the past years, the World Congress of the Tatars has created a database of about 4,200 Tatar villages across Russia.

On the initiative of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, in 2012, the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and the All-Russian Public Organization “Tatar Villages of Russia” organized the All-Russian Gathering of Entrepreneurs from Tatar Villages — a new stage in the development of rural territories.

Social and Charitable Mission of the Gathering

The gathering traditionally focuses on issues of business social responsibility and the strengthening of the unity of the Tatar world. It provides a platform for support, networking, and the exchange of experience among Tatar entrepreneurs, fosters horizontal connections between regions of Russia with Tatar communities, and promotes sustainable business and cultural ties.

Special attention is given to initiatives that benefit the development of business and Tatar communities in the regions of Russia, including:

  • Mutual support and preservation of cultural traditions;
  • Support for education and youth;
  • Implementation of social projects aimed at community development and improving citizens’ well-being.
