Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev is on a working trip to the Omsk region. On July 10, a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the II International Irtysh Sabantuy was held here.

Issues of landscaping the festival area, the operation of retail outlets, the procedure for holding the event – all this was discussed during the meeting. In particular, the tasks of organizing sports games on water were considered.

At the II International Irtysh Sabantuy, sports competitions, beach volleyball, and a water show (sailing regatta, kayaking, boating, yachting) will be organized.

The festival will feature a platform called “Ethno-Village,” where municipal districts of the Omsk region will present their cultures and achievements. The Tatar courtyard will also open.
