On May 31 Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev attended a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the XV All-Russian Rural Sabantuy. Deputy Chairman of the Kirov region Government Alexey Zherdev also participated in the business conversation.

It was noted that the region that will officially host Sabantuy will be announced on June 15. Nowadays, Vyatsko-Polyansky and Malmyzhsky districts of the Kirov region are being considered for Sabantuy.
