Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev met with compatriots living in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of the board of the Tashkent Tatar public cultural and educational center Rishat Nabiullin, the head of the Tatar-Bashkir national cultural center “Idel” of the Jizzakh region Akhat Gizzatullin, a member of the Tashkent Tatar public cultural and educational center Raikhan Fakhargalieva and the deputy head of the Tatar national cultural center of Fergana region Albina Ilyasova.

Vasil Shaykhraziev presented letters of gratitude and medals of the World Congress of the Tatars to active figures.

The medal of the WCT “For great services to the Tatar nation” was awarded to members of the board of the Tashkent Tatar public cultural and educational center Raikhan Fakhargalieva, Tagir Shaykhinurov, Renata Shaykhinurova, Nuria Sayfullina and activist of the center Sarvinaz Karimova.

For services to the Tatar people in the development of language, culture, preservation of traditions and customs of the Tatar people, active members of the center Ruslan Khasanov, Rinat Yarullin, Ilgiz Khusnutdinov and Mirzokir Mirsagitov were awarded a Letter of Gratitude from the WCT.
