On August 7, at the office of the Representative Office of the World Congress of the Tatars in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a working meeting was held with the leaders of Tatar public organizations of the region. The event took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, highlighting the importance of unity and cooperation among Tatar communities in strengthening national identity and developing the cultural space.

Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He expressed gratitude to the activists for their many years of work and contribution to preserving the Tatar language, traditions, and cultural heritage in the territory of Bashkortostan.

Vasil Shaykhraziev acquainted the meeting participants with the program of his visit to the region and spoke in detail about the key activities implemented by the World Congress of the Tatars throughout the year. Among the priority areas, he named work with youth, the development of the Tatar education system, support for cultural initiatives, strengthening the information space, and international cooperation.

Special attention was paid to the upcoming major event — Millet Zhieny, which will be held on August 26–28 in Kazan. The event traditionally brings together active representatives of Tatar organizations from all over the world and serves as a platform for discussing current issues and strategic initiatives. Vasil Shaykhraziev noted that a large delegation from the Republic of Bashkortostan will take part in the forum.
