The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan, Khaidar Gilfanov, met with the leadership of the Sverdlovsk Regional Tatar Youth Public Organization “YASHEN,” the Tatar-Bashkir community of the V.F. Yakovlev Ural State Law University (Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education), and the Association of Tatars and Bashkirs of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia, B.N. Yeltsin (Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education). During the meeting, the potential of the Republic of Tatarstan was presented.

The Permanent Representative introduced the youth leadership to upcoming youth events to be held in the Republic of Tatarstan and encouraged them to actively participate in these events.

From the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan:

• XII Annual Open Republican Television Festival of Working Youth Creativity “Our Time – Beznen Zaman” (applications accepted from March to September, with zonal tours, finals, and a gala concert from September to November);

• Festival of Street Cultures “URAM,” on August 30;

• International tournament on breaking and street art “Combonation,” August;

• All-Russian Festival of Creative Industries “REFCTOR FEST,” August;

• All-Russian Forum of Safety Volunteers, August.

From the World Congress of the Tatars:

• Festival of Urban Tatar Culture and Design “Pechen Bazary” – dates under discussion, tentatively the last 10 days of August;

• Forum “Millet zhıyını,” August 26–28.

The participants agreed on further cooperation and on holding such meetings regularly. At the end of the meeting, active members of the Tatar youth community were awarded Certificates of Honor by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in Sverdlovsk Region.
