At the House of culture of village Bulova, the Spassky rayon of Nizhny Novgorod region a qualifying contest of the IV Regional festival-contest of Tatar folk song “Milli Koi” dedicated to the memory of great and talented singers, natives of the Nizhny Novgorod region Haidar Begichev and Rashit Vagapov.
The founders and organizers of the festival are Regional national-cultural autonomy of Tatars of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Nizhny Novgorod state regional scientific-methodical center of national creativity and cultural-educational work, the Ministry of culture of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Ministry of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Administration of Spassky municipal rayon, vocal Studio “Art-Septim”. The festival is held under support of Ministry of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of internal regional and municipal policy, the Federal national-cultural autonomy of Tatars, and also of the Executive Committee of the world Tatar Congress.
The aim of the festival “Milli Koi” is the identification, preservation and development of traditional folk art of the Tatar people. The festival aims at reviving and promoting songs and oral folklore of the Tatars, the best examples of the intangible cultural heritage of the Tatars, the creation of favorable conditions for implementation of creative interchange of the performing artists, attracting the younger generation to the culture of its people, development of spiritual, moral and aesthetic sense, drawing attention to the problem of preserving people’s creative heritage of their homeland, and the identification of talented performers.
Festival from the status of “regional” moved to the status of “inter-regional”. This year bids from creative collectives not only from the Nizhny Novgorod region, but also teams from the Republic of Chuvashia, Mari El and Tatarstan have already received .
The event will be held on October 23, 2015.
