A monument to the hero of the Soviet Union, Tatar poet and war correspondent Musa Jalil was unveiled in Bishkek on July 16. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev took part in the event.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, Adviser to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic Albert Zulkharneev also took part in the procedure.
– Each nation has its own heroes, but at the same time there are our common heroes, such as Musa Jalil, – said Vasil Shaykhraziev.
